My Adirondacks: Ten Stories From Twenty Years
My Adirondacks was published as a small batch run of 600 copies in 2015. It was my only memoir and thus special to me. Though people half-jokingly warned I was too young to enter this genre at age 43, the year this 268-page book was published it was honored with the Adirondack Center for Writing's Memoir of the Year Award. My Adirondacks went out of print in 2025 when the final copy sold at a collector edition price.
I've written for publications ranging from Canoe and Kayak to Mountain Biking Magazine. I'm a no-nonsense wordsmith who loves quips
and quirks, humor but not hubris. Enjoy all my articles here.
